During the summer of 2017 the cook and host of Dagelijkse Kost, Jeroen Meus, was taking his usual summer break. Facebook released its new service, Facebook Live a few months earlier. The people over at Hotel Hungaria saw an opportunity to invite guest cooks over and broadcast it live on this new platform, all with a strict time limit.

My task was setting up the streaming PC and network connection. The scenes were directed by the director and were directly captured via HDMI capture card. Adding a countdown clock afterwards was done with the Wirecast software, which also broadcasted to the RTMP servers of Facebook.
