VRT NWS Bitcoinscams

In 2019 there were a lot of fake advertisements about Bitcoin on Facebook and other social media. Journalist Tim Verheyden requested my technical assistance to find out how the scammers behind the advertisements operated.

This consisted of analyzing the fake websites as well as finding out how they were calling from a Belgian number.
